Self-guided back pain relief - built for real life. Accessible anytime, anywhere.

To help you overcome pain — early, privately, and on your own terms —
so you can return to the work and life that matter most to you.
This is the story of why that mission exists.
And why it couldn't wait any longer.

It started with a single patient.

My story working with military service members began in 2007.

I was finishing physical therapy school during a clinical rotation at a neuro-rehabilitation center in California when I worked with my first service member — a Wounded Warrior recovering from a severe traumatic brain injury after his vehicle struck an IED in Iraq.

I didn’t know it at the time, but he would change the direction of my life.

What stayed with me wasn’t just his courage.
It was the discipline he brought to every therapy session.
The quiet determination.
And the unwavering presence of his wife, who stood beside him through every step of recovery.
They were a team — both carrying the weight of an injury sustained in service to others.

That experience shaped everything that followed.

I joined the U.S. Air Force as an active-duty physical therapist.
Then the Air Force Reserve. Then deployment.
Then government-contracted and embedded human performance roles — including with Special Operations units across multiple countries and stateside installations.

For nearly two decades, I worked alongside the people
who carry the most in life and ask for the least in return.
Military service members. First responders. Tactical athletes.
People operating in physically demanding, high-stakes environments
where pain was everywhere — and asking for help was rarely simple.
I had a front-row seat to something that troubled me deeply.

The help was often available.
But not everyone was taking advantage of it.

JUST THE BEGINNING JUST THE BEGINNING JUST THE BEGINNING JUST THE BEGINNING JUST THE BEGINNING JUST THE BEGINNING JUST THE BEGINNING JUST THE BEGINNING

And the reason wasn't what most people assume.
It wasn't the wait times — though those were real.
It wasn't the schedules — though those were relentless.
It wasn't the access — though that mattered too.

It was stigma.

The unspoken fear that asking for help meant admitting weakness.
That a profile or a limited duty status would follow them.
That their peers would notice. That their leadership would question them.
That the career they had worked so hard to build might abruptly shift the moment they raised their hand.

So they didn't raise their hand.
They pushed through.
They stretched a little.
They searched online for answers.
They hoped it would pass.
And I watched — as a clinician, as a veteran, as someone who was
supposed to be the solution — while pain that could have been addressed
early compounded quietly into something much harder to recover from.

The more I sat with that truth, the more I saw it everywhere.
Not just in uniform.
The nurse who treats everyone else's pain and ignores her own.
The firefighter who pushes through because that's what you do.
The working parent who puts the kids first, the job second,
and their own body somewhere at the bottom of the list.
The entrepreneur carrying a business on their back — literally.

Different lives. Different demands.
The same hesitation.
The same silence.
The same belief that their pain wasn't worth slowing down for.
Stigma doesn't wear a uniform.
It shows up anywhere people feel they can't afford to be seen struggling.

That's when I knew what I had to build — and who I had to build it for.

JUST THE BEGINNING JUST THE BEGINNING JUST THE BEGINNING JUST THE BEGINNING JUST THE BEGINNING JUST THE BEGINNING JUST THE BEGINNING JUST THE BEGINNING

In 2022, I began building something I had never seen before — and that I believed the world needed.

A way to address pain early. Privately.

Without appointments, referrals, or a paper trail.
Without career risk, judgment, or the fear of being seen as less.
Something that met people exactly where they were — in the middle of a demanding life, with a body that needed attention they didn't have time to give it — and gave them a clear, confident path forward anyway.

That's Venture Out Wellness™.

And the Clarify & Conquer™ program is how that mission becomes real.
Not a generic exercise list.
Not a "wait and see."
A personalized, evidence-informed plan — built around your specific pain pattern, available the moment you need it,
and designed to work in your life exactly as it is.

Because you shouldn't have to choose between your health and everything else that depends on you.

To your health and happiness on and off duty,

One of my earliest senior enlisted mentors once told me:
"We have to take care of the people, because it's the people who take care of the mission."

That lesson never left me.

No matter what your mission is —
you deserve support that respects your life, your time, and everything you're responsible for.

Welcome to Venture Out Wellness™.
Whether you found us because you serve in uniform,
because you work a job that demands everything from your body,
or because you're simply carrying more than your back can keep up with — you're in the right place.

Pain that's been ignored long enough becomes pain that starts making decisions for you.
It doesn't have to get that far.
Your clear path starts here.
